is currently pitching their album to recordlabels so, releaseinfo will follow shortly. On "New Era" Cloudscape had a guitarplayer called Daniel Pålsson to cover up after Björn Eliassons departure a year ago but, Daniel have sadly come to the conclusion he can't dedicate the time needed in Cloudscape as a fulltime member due to family matters plus another band he's been a member of for many years. So, recently Cloudscape joined ranks with one of their hometowns finest guitarplayers called Stefan Rosqvist who also is known for his colloboration with keyboard phenomenon Lalle Larsson (Weaveworld plus more). He is now a permanent member in Cloudscape and the band is really proud.

NEW ERA is completed!!

The work with Cloudscapes forthcoming 4th album entitled "New Era" is now finished! The band offers a strong, melodic album and probably their best to date. NEW ERA was produced by Micko Twedberg, mixed by Micko Twedberg together with Anders "Theo" Theander, mastered by Anders "Theo" Theander, who also is executive producer, all done at ROASTINGHOUSE STUDIOS. The sound is strong, organic and perfect for the songs, and all involved is really eager to present NEW ERA to the fans and metal community all over the world. Cloudscapes management will now start to touch base with record labels to find the best possible 'home' for "New Era".

Release info and release dates will be announced as soon as a record deal is settled...

Getting closer to New Era!!

It's been a while since this website was updated. The reason for this is because Cloudscape have been in the studio most part of the spring and summer. Nonetheless you can follow the actual recording process in the Facebook site which is constantly updated. However, Mike is about to record the last few songs to be included on New Era and Patrik and Daniel is currently recording the guitar solos so, in other words...Cloudscape is soon entering the mixing process of the album which will be done by engineer and producer Micko Twedberg. We do not yet know when and by who New Era will be released but, the band and their management will work for a late fall/early spring release. Stay tuned!!

CLOUDSCAPE announces guest performance on NEW ERA!!

Cloudscape is happy to announce that longtime friend Peter Wildoer (Darkane, James LaBrie) who recently participated on James LaBries album (Static Impulse) on drums and growls will sing/growl on a song to be included on 'New Era'. The band says that Peters voice sounds really cool and fitting for this particular song along with Mikes clean vocals. On a sidenote as some of you might know Mike and Peter have played together back in the late 80's in a local band called 'Zanines'. So, this will be the first time Mike and Peter appears officially on an album together. Cloudscape wishes to thank Peter for his awesome contribution to the song.

CLOUDSCAPE to begin drum recording for NEW ERA!!

On April 11 drummer Fredrik Joakimsson will enter the prestigious Roastinghouse studios to begin record the drums for the fourth album to be entitled NEW ERA. This time CLOUDSCAPE will work with producer and engineer Micko Twedberg to make the best out of the songs choosen for the album.
